The Indiana Dream Center is excited to announce a few changes that will soon impact families in the community.

Since 2012 they have served hundreds of individuals and families within the Huntington County community and beyond. These services include restoration homes and outpatient classes for those in an addictive lifestyles and providing life-giving and faith-based programming.

In addition the Indiana Dream Center provides food for those in need, clothing and furniture for families starting over or those who have suffered loss/tragedy and mentorships. They have also had the opportunity to serve children with their annual Back to School Bash, and have seen this grow from a few hundred to over 2,000 served this year.

Over the years they have had the opportunity to see many individual lives changed, and as they step into a new season at the Indiana Dream Center, they are excited to see that multiply as they serve families in a new way. One of the most foundational ways in which they fulfill their mission of restoring hope and awakening dreams through Jesus Christ, is through relationships and mentorships. They understand that they need a stronger sense of community and a sense that they are called to live life together. They also believe that it is families that will change communities.

As the Indiana Dream Center closes out 2022 and steps into 2023, they will be transitioning to a Family Care Center. They will begin to serve moms and dads and extended families. They will serve each one through the journey of pregnancy and parenting by providing: free pregnancy tests, education, parenting and life skills classes, co-parenting classes, marriage groups, faith-based groups and family freedom groups. Throughout this process they will also be connecting individuals and families with trained mentors to ensure those who desire a mentor aren’t walking life alone. In order to provide proper care and training, they are excited to announce they are a CareNet and Heartbeat International affiliate facility.

Along with opening up the Family Care Center, they will continue to serve the community through their Hope 61 program, providing for those in need. The MarXed program will serve youth, and they will offer outdoor and indoor food pantries. The Op Shop and Revive Center, which is our Social Service Advocacy and Connections program, will continue throughout the year. They will continue to host the annual Back to School Bash, Hope Week and serve our city days.

With the support of the community, churches, leaders, businesses, individuals and families, they will have a vision to open a free prenatal clinic, a community support resource center and more. Every mom and dad will have an opportunity to go through a “learn to earn” program. They will receive education and empowerment as they earn “hope dollars” that will be used for diapers, wipes, baby gear, baby and children’s clothes, toys, household items, adult clothes, adult and baby hygiene and formula.

Change must happen today to impact tomorrow, and at the Indiana Dream Center, they are committed to stepping into a change model to impact generations to come. The community can be a part of this change! If you are ready to impact the generations to come, email michelle@indianadreamcenter.com or call (260) 200-1155. They look forward to partnering with you to see transformational change.
