Dayton, Texas had a population of 7,615 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Texas Business Daily.

The median age was 31, with 53.4 percent of the total population being female and 46.6 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 27,419,612.
