Graduates earn 2,653 degrees, certificates from Texas Christian University


About 25.1 percent of the 2,653 degrees and certificates handed out by Texas Christian University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Worth conferred 472 bachelor's degrees and 193 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 194 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 116 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 114 bachelor's degrees in speech communication and rhetoric.

The university enrolled 10,489 students for 2017-18, including 9,011 in undergraduate programs and 1,478 in graduate programs.
