Graduates earn 2,833 degrees from Stephen F Austin State University


About 16.6 percent of the 2,833 degrees and certificates handed out by Stephen F Austin State University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Nacogdoches conferred 400 bachelor's degrees and 69 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies. Data shows the school gave out 277 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies, followed by 176 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science and 143 master's degrees in general educational leadership and administration.

The university enrolled 12,614 students for 2017-18, including 10,985 in undergraduate programs and 1,629 in graduate programs.
