Graduates earn 8,184 degrees, certificates from The University of Texas at Dallas


About 32.3 percent of the 8,184 degrees and certificates handed out by The University of Texas at Dallas in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Richardson conferred 1636 master's degrees and 924 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in information science/studies. Data shows the school gave out 621 master's degrees in information science/studies, followed by 426 master's degrees in general computer and information sciences and 373 master's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 27,642 students for 2017-18, including 18,470 in undergraduate programs and 9,172 in graduate programs.
