Graduates earn 3,433 degrees from Texas A & M University-Commerce


About 26 percent of the 3,433 degrees and certificates handed out by Texas A & M University-Commerce in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Commerce conferred 670 master's degrees and 223 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies. Data shows the school gave out 587 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies, followed by 375 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 133 master's degrees in accounting.

The university enrolled 13,244 students for 2017-18, including 8,494 in undergraduate programs and 4,750 in graduate programs.
