About 29.4 percent of the 479 degrees and certificates handed out by Texas A&M University-Texarkana in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Texarkana conferred 86 bachelor's degrees and 55 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies. Data shows the school gave out 92 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies, followed by 74 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 52 master's degrees in general business administration and management.
The university enrolled 2,066 students for 2017-18, including 1,610 in undergraduate programs and 456 in graduate programs.
