The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston enrolls 709 undergrads


At The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, 52 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 84 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Houston enrolled 5,242 students in fall 2017, including 709 in undergraduate and 4,533 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (32 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (31 percent).
