Southern Careers Institute-Austin enrolls 434 undergrads


At Southern Careers Institute-Austin, 53 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Austin enrolled 434 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (33 percent) and white (11 percent).
