Tuition and fees rose 5.4 percent for 2017-18 at Neilson Beauty College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $11,650 to attend the private for-profit school this year $600 more than the $11,050 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 5 students received grants or scholarships totaling $27,000.

Including all undergraduates, 29 students used grants or scholarships totaling $184,900.
