Graduates earn 100 degrees, certificates from Brightwood College-Beaumont


About 93 percent of the 100 degrees and certificates handed out by the Brightwood College-Beaumont in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Beaumont conferred 89 certificates and 4 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Medical/Clinical Assistant. Data shows the school gave out 43 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant, followed by 35 certificates in Dental Assisting/Assistant and 11 certificates in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder.

The college enrolled 102 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
