Graduates earn 7,464 degrees, certificates from The University of Texas at Dallas


About 31.6 percent of the 7,464 degrees and certificates handed out by the The University of Texas at Dallas in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Richardson conferred 1417 master's degrees and 822 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Information Science/Studies. Data shows the school gave out 574 master's degrees in Information Science/Studies, followed by 461 master's degrees in Computer and Information Sciences, General and 380 master's degrees in Accounting.

The university enrolled 26,793 students for 2016-17, including 17,350 in undergraduate programs and 9,443 in graduate programs.
