Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America (MCFA) has opened a regional parts distribution center in the North Texas community of Grand Prairie, situated between Dallas and Fort Worth.
"This expansion further reinforces our commitment to our customers by expanding our ability to provide next-day ground service parts throughout North America," Jerry Sytsma, who serves as MCFA's manufacturing enterprise’s director of parts and solutions, said.
The large industrial equipment manufacturer has leased approximately 60,000 square feet of space at 700 Commerce Park Drive for its newest facility.
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America produces forklifts under the well-known brand names of Cat lift trucks, Mitsubishi forklift trucks and Jungheinrich.
The new Grand Prairie facility serves as one of five similar hubs nationwide, stocking a comprehensive inventory of parts valued at approximately $60 million. Existing plants are situated in Pennsylvania, California, Michigan and Indiana.
