The Lubbock Chamber will host a luncheon next month featuring the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ president and CEO and other officials who will address the business economic climate outlook for Lubbock and the state.
The Lubbock Chamber will host “A Dialogue with the Dallas Fed” on Aug. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.
The luncheon will feature Robert Kaplan, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-TX) and Texas Tech School of Finance senior associate dean Jeff Mercer and focus on the economic climate for business in the local region and throughout the state and how the Federal Reserve develops monetary policies to further economic growth and jobs.
Luncheon tickets are $50 for non-chamber members and $35 for members. The Chamber also has sponsorship spots available for the August luncheon.
