The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce has won an Award of Excellence for a 2016 issue of its Business Matters publication.

The award was offered from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and is designed to honor outstanding advertising and marketing campaigns. Winners were selected by chamber peers from around the country.

“The Lake Houston Area Chamber has worked very hard developing a quality, relevant business magazine for our area,” President/ CEO of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Jenna Armstrong said. “To receive such an honor from ACCE is quite an achievement and speaks to the strength and quality of all whom contribute to this publication as motivation to keep pursuing communication excellence in our field.”

The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives was created in 1914 and serves 8,000 chamber of commerce managers.

“Communicating effectively is vital for chambers of commerce and grabbing attention is becoming increasingly challenging. This year’s award-winning entries represent work that’s not only effective, but incredibly creative and innovative,” Ben Wills, ACCE director of communications and marketing, said. “Communications professionals at chambers of commerce work tirelessly to promote their members, businesses in the community they serve, and the unique characteristics that make their state or region a top place to live, work and play.”
