The Lubbock Chamber officially welcomed Texas Association of Business’ CEO Jeff Moseley at a reception May 11 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in conjunction with its Business Expo.
Moseley previously served as state vice president of government affairs with the Texas Central Panthers, a private company that has been working on a new high-speed rail system to run from Dallas to Houston. He has also worked with one of the largest chambers of commerce in the state, the Greater Houston Partnership, where he served as CEO.
Moseley was also the previous vice chairman of the Texas Department of Transportation Commission.
The 95-year-old TAB organization works to represent companies in all communities throughout Texas and serves as an advocate for businesses through legislative, regulatory and judicial fronts. The Lubbock Chamber, founded in 1913 boasts over 2,000 members and is one of largest business federations in the South Plains.
