The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Business Expo in May featuring over 200 exhibitors and an expected attendance of around 7,000 community members.
The 2017 Expo, dubbed “Superheroes,” will also spotlight creative marketing programs to help businesses connect to “local heroes” in the community and will feature free seminars on advertising and marketing.
Scheduled speakers for this year’s expo seminar series include Jerrod Shelton, digital media director and owner of Contract Creative, who will present “You Might Be Wasting Your Advertising Budget - The Digital Age.”
Also presenting at the seminar series is Chick-fil-A owner and operator Brandon Mulkey, executive director of Brand Excellence and Public Relations Abie Rampy, and the company’s director of public relations Corie Williams. They will discuss “Marketing and Communication Strategies of Chick-fil-A.”
The 2017 Business Expo will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on May 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a private exhibitor’s networking event from 9-10 a.m.
