Scot Laun has joined Halff Associates Inc. as a senior project manager in the Water Resources Department.
Halff Associates, based in Texas, is one of the nation's leading engineering and architecture consulting firms. Laun will add value to the firm with his 21 years of professional experience.
Laun's expertise includes civil engineering design and project management for a variety of private clients and clients in the federal and local government sectors. He has extensive experience working with FEMA -- locally, regionally and nationwide.
Some of Laun's recent San Antonio projects include the North Verde low-water crossing, Quail Creek tributary drainage project, Risk MAP support for FEMA of the upper San Antonio River, and the Cibolo Creek watershed master plan that covered seven counties.
Laun has a master of science and bachelor of science in civil engineering from Texas Tech. He is also a professional engineer and certified floodplain manager.
