America’s largest barbecue chain opened one of its newest locations in New Braunfels on Dec. 29.
Dickey's Barbecue Pit will offer four weeks of special and giveaways, including free barbecue for an entire year to three lucky diners. To enter, BBQ lovers must use the hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media site, sign up for Dickey’s Big Yellow Cup Club, or order online.
"The Dickey family congratulates Kenny Elliott on opening his first Dickey's Barbecue Pit in New Braunfels," Roland Dickey Jr., CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, said. "Dickey's Barbecue Pit is growing rapidly and we are always proud to expand further in our home state of Texas."
For the next three weeks, customers can enjoy specials on certain days of the week. Dickey’s will offer a free Big Yellow Cup with Dickey's new reusable travel lid and straw to all guests on Thursdays. On Fridays, uniformed first responders can eat for half price, and kids eat free with a paying adult on Sundays (adult meal must be $10 dine-in purchase).
Elliott, who was born and raised in Texas, said he has been a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit lover all his life.
"Dickey's only serves authentic, high-quality smoked barbecue," he said. "I am excited to have the opportunity to be the one to provide Dickey's delicious barbecue to my community."
The New Braunfels location is at 272 FM 306, Suite 128.
