The Governor's office has appointed Todd Boykin and reappointed Jerry Bob Daniel and Wilson Scaling to the Red River Authority of Texas Board of Directors.
Gov. Greg Abbott appointed the three to terms that will expire on August 11, 2021.
Boykin brings his experience as an attorney specializing in real estate law. He is a partner and chair of Burdett Morgan Williamson & Boykin LLP. He is board certified in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law. He attended Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Arts and Baylor University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor.
Returning director Jerry Bob Daniel is the co-owner and co-founder of the Circle Bar Ranch in Knox County. He has a wide range of experience in ranching and business. He serves on the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association as the vice chair of the animal health and food safety committee. He also serves on the National Cattlemen Beef Association's Ag Policy committee and the Pitchfork Land and Cattle Co. Board of Directors.
Also returning to the board is Wilson Scaling of Henrietta. He owns and manages Scaling & Co. LLC. He serves as director of the North Texas Rehabilitation Foundation and Little Wichita Soil and Water Conservation District. He is also an honorary director of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He previously served on the boards of the Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts and Clay County Pioneer Association.
