Special flight and accommodation prices are available for the annual SA to DC fly-in, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce's plan to bring together business leaders, military and nonprofit partners, and local officials for the Feb. 13-16 trip to Washington, D.C.

The event allows participants to speak on the city’s top legislative items. It began as a way to show appreciation for government officials, but SA to DC has evolved into a communication forum for those wishing to voice their concerns on community issues. Many items discussed will affect the growth of the city, so anyone advocating for the betterment of neighborhoods and wishing to thank those working on the city’s behalf in Washington is invited to take part.

The chamber was able to negotiate special flight rates costing only one-third of the regular price, and hotel prices were discounted by 50 percent for those taking part. Spouses are invited to attend as the event falls on Valentine’s Day weekend.

Questions should be directed to Belinda Hartwig at 202-229-2199.
